Officer **to join its secretariat in Brussels.

ELF is the political foundation of the ALDE Party.

Together with 51 member organisations, it works all over Europe to bring new liberal ideas into the political debate, to provide a platform for discussion and to enable citizens to make their voices heard.

Through its activities, it promotes a free, open and future-oriented liberal Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Daily creation of content and development of visuals for social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram YouTube).
  • Managing website (adding new/reviewed content, being in contact with the developer about requests, taking requests from other team members regarding the content).
  • Supporting other units in their communication.
  • Coordination with outside suppliers and contractors (designers, event organisers, venues etc.)
  • Organisational tasks (writing meeting minutes, keeping SharePoint/etc. folders up to date)
  • Degree in communication, journalism, political science or equivalent
  • Experience in the creation of content for and maintenance of websites and social networksFluent English. Knowledge of French and/or German an asset
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize the workload
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholder teams and efficiently manage and solve any challenges that arise;
  • Affinity for liberal ideas
