  • The Role:We are seeking an experienced consultant (Director level) to join our Sustainability team in Brussels. This role will focus on Climate and Energy policies, reporting directly to the Team Leader of the Sustainability practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and implement influential EU and multi-market campaigns on crucial climate and energy topics such as hydrogen, gas grid, and electricity markets. You will collaborate with various stakeholders (EU and national policymakers, industry associations, downstream users, and media influencers) to create significant policy impacts for our clients.
    • What you'll do as you progress with us:
    • Lead and expand a portfolio of climate & energy projects, nurturing client relationships and delivering strategic public affairs and communication programs.
    • Offer strategic advice on climate and energy matters to diverse clients including multinational corporations and international organizations.
    • Act as the main point of contact for clients on a daily basis.
    • Ensure high quality and timely delivery on multiple accounts in a dynamic environment.
    • Identify opportunities with account teams and clients to enhance impact and results.
    • Play an active role in new business development, agency operations, and internal collaborations to strengthen the team.
    • Mentor, inspire, and train junior colleagues to provide top-tier consulting services while managing small client teams.
    • Share insights and best practices, positioning BCW externally in the climate & energy sector.
Experience that contributes to your success:Bringing over 10 years of experience in EU climate & energy policies within agencies, industries, or trade associations.Demonstrated expertise in specific areas such as Decarbonized gas & Hydrogen Package, 2040 climate target, Electricity Market reform, CCUS Strategy, and more.Proven track record of leading projects, building strong client relationships, and executing public affairs programs.Experience in managing account financials, forecasting, and reporting.A robust network of contacts with EU policymakers, the media, and business communities on climate and energy topics.Strong team player with solution-driven mindset and people management skills.Proficient in navigating complex, fast-paced environments successfully.Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and hands-on approach with strong interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.Desire to contribute to a diverse and inclusive workplace through active participation in cultural initiatives and training programs.More about BCW:BCW is a global communications agency that inspires action for clients across various sectors including B2B, consumer, corporate, healthcare, and more.
