**GC Corporation** werd in 1921 opgericht in Japan en ontwikkelde zich sindsdien tot een van de vooraanstaande bedrijven in de ontwikkeling, productie en distributie van een zeer uitgebreid gamma aan tandheelkundige producten. Sinds 1972 is GC Europe NV, de Europese hoofdzetel, gevestigd in het Researchpark Haasrode (Leuven) van waaruit de verschillende verkoopskantoren en distributeurs aangestuurd en ondersteund worden. Vanuit het distributiecentrum worden producten over Europa en het Midden-Oosten verdeeld. In de productie faciliteiten worden een aantal toonaangevende producten voor tandtechnici geproduceerd. Om ons team verder te versterken zijn we momenteel op zoek naar een:
**Production Supervisor**

**Doel van de functie**

In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het aansturen, optimaliseren, documenteren en verbeteren van de activiteiten binnen de productie afdeling GIC (Glass Ionomer Cements).

Als supervisor van de GIC afdeling sta je in voor alle afvul
- en verpakkingsactiviteiten van jouw afdeling. De afdeling bestaat uit 3 cleanrooms waarin poeders en liquids worden afgevuld en de bijhorende verpakkingsafdeling waarin deze afgevulde producten. Hiernaast ben je ook verantwoordelijk voor de verpakking van andere bulkproducten toegeleverd vanuit ons moederbedrijf in Japan.

**Verantwoordelijkheden**
- Dagelijkse/wekelijkse opvolging en organisatie van de productieplanning en personeelsplanning om back orders te vermijden.
- Dagelijkse verificatie van correcte documentatie in electronic batch record.
- Wekelijkse en maandelijkse productie rapportering documenteren.
- Optimaliseren van de order doorlooptijden en de productieplanning
- 1e aanspreekpunt voor het GIC departement.
- Onderzoeken en oplossen van problemen i.v.m. produktkwaliteit, productieproces en machines adv Kaizen methodiek
- Op basis van data-analyse en monitoring op de werkvloer suggesties uitwerken om procesverbeteringen door te voeren, en na goedkeuring mee implementeren.
- Up to date houden van de nodige procedures en erop waken dat deze gevolgd worden
- Bewaken van de toepasselijke kwaliteitssystemen, en afwijkingen documenteren in niet conformiteitsrapportering.
- Motiveren, ontwikkelen en begeleiden van medewerkers, en tevens de jaarlijkse doelstellingen formuleren en evalueren van de operatoren.
- Bevorderen van de polyvalentie van medewerkers (zowel binnen de afdeling als daarbuiten)
- Intern overleg met de verantwoordelijken van Productie, Quality Control, planning, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, Aankoop en de technische dienst.
- Overleg met externe partners

**Functievereisten**
- Bachelor in een technische richting of evenwaardig door ervaring
- Minstens 3 jaar ervaring in een productieomgeving
- Kennis van een Cleanroom omgeving - ISO13485 is een pluspunt.
- Goede kennis van Office (Excel, Word,..)
- Ervaring met dataverwerking in Excel
- Kennis van SAP
- Zeer goede kennis Nederlands en Engels
