Beiersdorf Belgium, based in Brussels, is looking for a Junior Consumer Journey & Brand Manager NIVEA - 6 months contract.

Role and responsibilities:

As a Junior Consumer Journey and Brand Manager NIVEA, you will have the unique opportunity to work on both the local marketing plans for the categories Shower and Hair, as well as work on the consumer journey for the NIVEA brand. Key objective to ensure to meet the set objectives in market shares, sales and profitability.

Main responsibilities:

  • Daily Management of the product categories: definition and implementation of successful launches and relaunches incl. analysis, follow-up of supply chain data, forecasting, follow-up of activation plans / follow-up of the core product portfolio
  • Support the Marketing Manager in business steering:
    • Understanding of challenges and opportunities for your categories and provide clear recommendations
    • Ongoing generation of local insights to develop impactful and efficient action plans and identify the business opportunities to reinforce your categories in Belgium
    • Market analysis & performance tracking: analysis of the sell-in and sell-out results, follow up the competition activities (media, innovations, activities) and landscape, market evolution in terms of product and habits / trend
  • Work together with the Marketing Manager to define and implement the local marketing strategy and plans based on the marketing mix levers and apply in the best way possible the international guidelines & strategies to the local market situation
  • Owning the non-working marketing budget of your categories
  • Engaging and motivating key stakeholders to maximize your category performance
  • You work as a team player in close collaboration with your marketing colleagues and other business functions, namely Sales, SCM, Supply Chain, Financial Controlling, Regulatory, and report directly to the Senior Brand Manager.
  • Support the Media & Consumer Journey team in business steering:
    • In charge of the BE Consumer relation management and back-up for Consumer relations NL during holidays. You are in close contact with the NL Consumer relations manager on ensuring that all consumer questions are answered in a good quality for NIVEA & Labello.
Your Profile

What it takes to join us?

  • Degree level in a relevant field (marketing, business,...)
  • Fluency in French, Dutch & English is required
  • First experience in brand - product management (FMCG experience is a plus)
  • You have a passion for cosmetics
  • Positive and creative mindset with a can-do mentality
  • Analytical skills and result-driven approach
  • Accurate, well organized and attention to details
  • Strong communication skills, both in written and verbal
  • You are a team player, taking initiatives but also capable of working autonomously
