We have an exciting new job opportunity at our location in Brussels and are looking to hire a Brand & Customer Manager (BCM) Oncology.

Purpose of the role

To support the growth of our Oncology Portfolio, we are looking for an Oncology BCM for our Lung franchise. The BCM will report to the Franchise Lead Lung and is responsible for contributing to marketing strategy development, implementing promotional strategies, leading omnichannel campaigns, and identifying innovative approaches to help drive commercial success of current indications and upcoming launches.

To be successful in role, the BCM will work cross-functionally together with the Medical Affairs department, the sales team, the Commercial Operations and the digital & data analytics team.

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to the following key activities:

  • Collaborate & contribute to articulating local market & customer insights into an integrated brand plan, consistent with global/regional strategic brand plans and overall product strategy – in close alignment with Oncology marketing & sales team ;
  • Pro-actively adapt the brand plan (including digital omni-channel strategies) in function of the continuously changing environment, customer insights, market research reports and promotional analysis to maximize brand potential ;
  • Build close relationships and collaborate extensively with the cross functional team (BCMs, Account Managers, Medical Advisors, External Affairs, digital/data team) to receive market and customer insights, align on the brand strategy and messaging, and translate the customer needs into the promotional materials and campaigns ;
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns across various channels, monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize campaign effectiveness ;
  • Be accountable for the delivery of marketing initiatives and materials, both digital and print ;
  • Share and implement best practices across the oncology business unit and the regional teams.

Your profile

You are passionate about marketing, including digital marketing, science and people

  • University degree required (bachelor a minimum) in Life Sciences or another relevant discipline with healthcare curriculum ;
  • Relevant experience in the healthcare industry ;
  • Previous oncology experience and/or scientific knowledge in oncology is a plus ;
  • Passion for marketing, including digital marketing, or project management ;
  • Digital savvy and creative mindset to find innovative solutions ;
  • Self-organized and structured, with the ability to define your own tasks ;
  • Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects ;
  • Collaborator mindset: ability to act as a team player within the team, across oncology franchises and cross-functional departments; ability to provide support in guiding the cross-functional brand team ;
  • Can-do attitude: exhibit strong project management, problem solving, analytical and execution skills ;
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, learn science and translate it to the relevant communication for a broad audience ;
  • Strong power point and excel skills, other project management and digital effectiveness tools ;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English, Dutch and/or French are required.
