We are always in search of an IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic Technical Resource Group team.

You will be providing customer support at various locations between Brussels and Antwerp, serving as a mobile and adaptable engineer.

What you will do

As a part of our dynamic team, you will deliver on-site user support for 1st and 2nd line. This involves analyzing incidents, problems, and service requests, suggesting solutions, and assisting with their implementation. You will also manage escalations and follow-ups.

Some of your daily activities will include:

  • End users support
  • Troubleshooting software and hardware incidents
  • Resolving software and hardware issues (laptops, desktops, printers)
  • Installing and configuring laptops
  • Resolving software issues related to inhouse applications
  • Handling and analyzing tickets in the IT ticketing tool
  • Performing quick incident management and collaborating closely with the expert team
  • Preparing new and repaired hardware
  • Staging laptops and PCs with SCCM
  • Troubleshooting Windows 10 issues
  • Setting up conference rooms for management meetings
  • Physically installing cabling, monitors, dockings, PCs, printers, etc.

What you will need

The ideal candidate will excel in client interactions at all levels, possess practical technical skills, and strong interpersonal abilities.

  • Prior knowledge of Microsoft Applications
  • Experience in supporting Mobile and handheld devices
  • Good administrative skills, attention to detail, accuracy in data, and proficiency in reporting and information processing
  • Previous exposure to corporate IT environments would be beneficial
  • Outstanding customer-facing and communication skills, flexibility in embracing change and conveying changes to customers
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Readiness to take initiative and be proactive
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English, and proficiency in Dutch and French
  • Possession of a valid driver's license B
