Job descriptionUSG Professionals is looking for a Social Media Manager for our client in the region of Brussels. This can be both as a USG Project Consultant or on a Freelance basisThe ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and running regular research and reporting on the latest social media trends and audience preferences. They will define processes to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, content design techniques, and visual identity. This role involves collaborating with various teams to plan, generate, and distribute centralized monthly social editorial content to National Marketing and Sales Companies (NMSCs).Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular research and reporting on the latest social media trends and audience preferences.
- Define and implement processes to stay current with the latest technologies, content design techniques, and visual identity standards.
- Collaborate with the team to plan, generate, and distribute centralized monthly social editorial content to NMSCs.
- Promote the usage of the BrandWatch platform across all NMSCs and set common KPIs for monitoring.
- Lead the development of dashboards in BrandWatch.
- Work closely with other teams, such as PSM, VC, Connected, and ESG, to identify and create social editorial content.
- Establish a PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) process with input from agencies and NMSCs to ensure continuous improvements are implemented.
- Support the creation of monthly social media coverage reports.
- Contribute to quarterly touchpoints with markets, both virtually and face-to-face.
- Assist in developing a measurement framework across all markets.
- Demonstrate expertise in performance measurement using existing social media reporting tools such as BrandWatch or other tools.
Qualifications:
- ·Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- ·In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms, particularly BrandWatch.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a multinational environment.
- Familiarity with PDCA processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of visual identity and content design techniques.
