Als business development advisor ben je onderdeel van het commercieel team dat zich focust op investeringsprojecten / ontwikkelingen in de haven. Je bent nauw betrokken bij de gebiedsontwikkeling in de Port of Antwerp-Bruges en staat in voor het aantrekken van nieuwe investeringsprojecten.
* Je speurt naar marktkansen en werkt nauw samen met experts binnen onze organisatie om nieuwe projecten aan te trekken en het bestaande havenplatform in Antwerpen en Zeebrugge uit te breiden
* Je begeleidt projecten efficiënt en effectief van A-Z met de commerciële strategie voor ogen
* Je hebt een sterke affiniteit met de industriële en chemische sectoren en bent goed op de hoogte van de trends en ontwikkelingen, zoals de circulaire economie en energietransitie
* Je neemt de leiding in diverse ontwikkelingsprojecten, waarbij je nauw samenwerkt met collega's van verschillende afdelingen, waaronder infrastructuur en operations. Dit betreft onder andere het optimaliseren van de locaties en het verbeteren van de toegankelijkheid
* Je fungeert als het aanspreekpunt voor strategische dossiers en biedt expertise en advies ter ondersteuning van het beleid, projecten en andere afdelingen. Door gebruik te maken van stakeholdermanagement werk je aan een duurzaam klantgericht resultaat Profiel * Je behaalde een masterdiploma of je hebt gelijkwaardige relevante werkervaring
* Je hebt minstens enkele jaren ervaring binnen business development, preferentieel binnen een industriële of maritieme context
* Je bent goed op de hoogte van belangrijke marktontwikkelingen, trends binnen de industrie & chemie en hebt ervaring in het screenen van investeringsprojecten, inclusief het lezen van business cases, analyseren van bedrijfsresultaten en (macro-)economische trends
* Je bent een analytische probleemoplosser met sterke organisatorische vaardigheden, die de juiste prioriteiten weet te stellen in een complexe omgeving. Daarnaast werk je projectmatig om gestelde doelstellingen en deadlines te behalen
* Je bent een teamplayer, klantgericht en hebt uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden, zowel in het Engels als in het Frans en Nederlands. Kennis van bijkomende talen is een pluspunt
