We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at SII Group Belgium. You would join various teams working for projects in Aeronautic, Space & Defense.

Key Responsibilities
- Developing and detailing of concepts by hand calculations and/or FEM;
- Designing and developing and further developing existing systems; such as brake systems, steering systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and suspension;
- Proposing and generating design substantiation (analyses and/or complex test setups);
- Reporting of compliance demonstration in English;
- Contact with suppliers.
Qualification:
- You have a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive- or Aviation/Aerospace design or similar technical expertise;
- Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design
- Experience with CAD, FMEA, strength calculations and FEM;
- Excellent CREO or Catia skills;
- Experience in compliance demonstration and/or certification is preferred.
- Communication in French, English is a plus.
