Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business intelligence strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Work with local business leaders and teams to understand the business needs and propose solutions in line with EMEA Data Analytics strategy.
- Communicate with management regularly to share updates on projects and ensure they are on track. In particular, meet regularly with a delegate of the Country Exco to discuss progress and priorities.
- Provide advice to other colleagues and project teams on the design and implementation of BI analysis.
- Use local stakeholder network to surface and develop business requirements
- Be the ‘on the ground’ face of the EMEA Analytics team
- Develop reports based on data analysis and provide recommendations for action.
- Deploy locally global and regional projects to ensure processes consistency and efficiency.
- Manage team of local / remote BI specialists allocated to the country.
- Meet regularly with other BI leaders across EMEA to ensure consistency of approach and to share ideas.
- In addition to Country responsibilities, be responsible for an EMEA Sector or Service responsibility, driving consistency and best practice across the region.
- Attend client pitches and meetings as needed.
- Provide training on new business intelligence tools and technologies to users within the organization.
- Create policies and procedures for the use of business intelligence tools within the Country
Requirements:
- Fluent in German and English, with exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Common MS Office applications to excellent levels including SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Strong proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data analytics platforms, with a solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and SQL.
- At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
- Experience leading a small team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts in a simple, understandable way.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
