We are seeking a Senior IT Portfolio Manager to join our team. The role focuses on aligning digital solutions, IT services, projects, and programmes with organisational strategic objectives and business goals.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a strategically balanced IT portfolio across run, grow and transform horizons.
- Evaluate and prioritize portfolio components using weighted methods such as WSJF and Cost of Delay.
- Manage resource capacity, allocation, and dependencies through portfolio Kanban and quarterly planning.
- Collect and analyse portfolio performance against KPIs and OKRs, delivering automated dashboards and reports.
- Oversee portfolio governance, risk registers, change control, and budget alignment.
- Collaborate with solution, service, programme and project managers and other stakeholders.
Required qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of IT professional experience.
- 15 years experience with project, programme and portfolio management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PM², PfMP).
- 10 years experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
- 10 years experience in IT Governance.
- Experience with enterprise architecture modelling (BPMN/UML) and cost‑benefit analysis.
Nice to have
- Hands‑on experience with GovIS2, Jira Align or equivalent PPM platforms.
- Knowledge of COBIT and ITIL4 frameworks.
- Background in cybersecurity principles and IT asset protection.
- Experience performing As‑Is/To‑Be and gap analyses.
