CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Alliance Director to lead a significant strategic client partnership.

This is a high-profile leadership role where you will serve as the executive sponsor for a major account, building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders while driving growth, operational excellence, innovation, and long-term value creation. You will act as a strategic advisor, helping shape business outcomes while ensuring the successful delivery of integrated facilities management and workplace solutions across a complex, multi-country portfolio.

As Alliance Director, you will combine commercial leadership, strategic thinking, and operational oversight to deliver exceptional outcomes for both the client and CBRE. You will lead a high-performing matrix organisation, influence executive decision-makers, and identify opportunities to strengthen and grow the partnership through innovation, efficiency, and service excellence.

How You Add Value

Strategic Client Leadership

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Act as the strategic partner and primary executive contact for the client.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the client's business, objectives, priorities, and future challenges.
  • Provide thought leadership and innovative solutions that create measurable business value.
  • Lead executive governance forums and ensure alignment between strategic objectives and operational delivery.
  • Champion the voice of the client across the organization while aligning business goals with service outcomes.

Commercial & Financial Management

  • Own the overall financial performance and profitability of the account.
  • Develop and execute a robust Account Business Plan focused on growth, value creation, and customer success.
  • Identify and deliver opportunities for organic growth, service expansion, and innovation.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, contract renewals, and governance activities.
  • Ensure contractual commitments are achieved while proactively managing risk and commercial outcomes.
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth and margin improvement across the portfolio.

Operational Excellence

  • Provide executive oversight across all service lines supporting the account.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services that meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Foster collaboration across multiple business functions, geographies, and stakeholders.
  • Lead issue resolution and escalation management to ensure positive customer outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on performance, efficiency, innovation, and customer experience.
  • Ensure business continuity and operational resilience across the account.

People & Leadership

  • Lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams across diverse functions and locations.
  • Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and excellence.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership within a complex matrix environment.
  • Align people, resources, and capabilities to support client and business objectives.
  • Develop leadership capability and succession planning across the account.
  • Serve as a role model for CBRE's values and leadership behaviours.

  • Proven accountability for substantial P&L management and commercial performance.

  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in contract management, governance, and negotiation.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing growth strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
