What you will do
You will take responsibility for the administration and maintenance of Linux systems within a public-sector organisation. Your work will focus on ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the Linux infrastructure.
Your tasks will include:
- Managing and maintaining Linux servers and systems
- Monitoring system performance and availability
- Implementing security measures and patches
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Supporting the IT team with system-related tasks
What we are looking for
- Solid experience in Linux system administration
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools
- Understanding of system security, networking, and performance tuning
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills in Dutch
The setting
This assignment starts on 1 December 2026. The work is based in the Brussels region. You will be working within a public-sector environment focused on delivering reliable IT services.
