Our client is an international private wealth management firm specialising in financial advice for expatriates and globally mobile professionals. With a network of offices across Europe and North America, the firm provides integrated solutions covering investment management, retirement planning and cross‑border financial structuring for individuals living internationally. The Brussels office plays a key role in supporting expatriates living and working in Belgium, where the tax system and financial regulations can be complex and require specialist advice.
The Opportunity
This role focuses on working with expatriate professionals, senior executives and internationally mobile investors who require advice on managing their wealth efficiently across borders. Belgium presents unique financial planning challenges, particularly around tax residency rules, pension structuring and international investment holdings, meaning clients rely heavily on professional guidance to optimise their financial position.
Core Advisory Areas
Help clients design retirement strategies that incorporate pensions, savings and succession planning while remaining compliant with Belgian pension and tax rules.
Construct globally diversified portfolios designed to balance growth, protection and liquidity while optimising tax efficiency under Belgian and international regulations.
Develop integrated financial strategies covering assets, income, taxation and long‑term goals, ensuring clients maintain clarity and confidence in their financial future.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide holistic financial advice to expatriate and international clients based in Belgium
- Develop personalised strategies covering investments, pensions and wealth structuring
- Guide clients through Belgian and international tax considerations
- Conduct portfolio reviews and long‑term financial planning consultations
- Build long‑term relationships with clients and professional partners
- Identify and develop new client opportunities within the expatriate community
Candidate Profile
- Have experience in wealth management, financial planning or private banking
- Hold relevant industry qualifications such as CISI, CII or equivalent
- Have experience advising expatriate or international clients
- Understand the complexities of cross‑border tax and pension planning
- Demonstrate strong relationship‑building and business development skills
- Are motivated to develop a long‑term advisory career within an international wealth firm

Applicants should have at least three (3) years’ client‑facing experience in wealth management or life insurance advisory, with recognised investment qualifications (e.g. CISI, CII level 4 or equivalent).
