Administrator advising on parliamentary business of FR language
The Europe of Sovereign Nations (ESN) Group in the European Parliament has opened a procedure for the temporary position of Administrator (AD 5) to support its Secretariat in Brussels. The role is created in response to EU centralisation and aims to safeguard the sovereignty of EU member states.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and follow up on legislative work in committees.
- Assist Members in their duties by providing opinions and advice.
- Advise ESN Members, particularly in the ITRE committee.
- Draft amendments, briefing notes, voting lists, minutes, summaries, analysis and other documents on matters within the Group’s competence.
- Maintain communication and contact with other political groups and EU institutions.
- Liaise with other political groups and institutions on ongoing files.
- Organise and follow up meetings.
- Contribute to communication activities required for the smooth operation of the Group.
Qualifications
- Be a national of an EU member state and enjoy full rights as a citizen (no criminal record).
- Fulfil obligations concerning military service, if applicable.
- Meet character requirements for the duties involved.
- Hold a university education of at least three years (diploma) or equivalent professional training, where justified.
- Have thorough knowledge of the French language and very good knowledge of English.
- Preferably possess knowledge of additional EU languages.
- Be familiar with the functioning of EU institutions and political systems of member states.
- Demonstrate ability to carry out conceptual analytical work.
- Know the political activities of the ESN Group and its Members.
- Be able to work in a multinational team.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency in computers.
- Show willingness to travel frequently, including several days per month in Strasbourg during plenary sessions.
- Be available for a high frequency of meetings, irregular working hours, and high workload flexibility.

Salary and Benefits
- Contract as a temporary agent (type 2(c)) for an indefinite period.
