Domain Delivery Lead - International Protection - SPF FOD

Dates: 2026-12-07 — 2027-03-07

Arrangements: Full-time; hybrid. Administrative dates: 07/12/2026–07/03/2027. Narrative start: as soon as possible after completion of selection; no onsite frequency specified.

The Immigration Office is transforming its digital working environment through the eMigration programme. The programme modernises business applications and strengthens collaboration between teams. Its goal is a more integrated, agile and future-oriented IT environment. The Domain Delivery Lead works within the Directorate-General on the International Protection domain.

You will unite several agile squads around shared objectives and ensure alignment with business priorities. You will coordinate global planning, dependencies, budgets and suppliers while managing changes and reporting risks. Servant leadership, coaching and transparent decision‑making support team autonomy and delivery maturity. The assignment involves multidisciplinary teams and a complex public‑sector stakeholder environment.

The profile calls for at least ten years in a similar function, five years of Agile experience and ten years each of complex digitalisation stakeholder management and project‑team leadership. Public‑sector transformation, business–IT communication, governance and business process reengineering are central requirements. Dutch or French must be native, while the narrative requests good English despite the platform classifying English as optional. The full‑time hybrid assignment in Brussels is administratively scheduled from 7 December 2026 to 7 March 2027, with a separate statement requesting commencement as soon as selection is completed.
