- Manage installation and bring-up of EPS installations at customer sites
- Guide clients’ engineers during installations
- Construct, follow, and communicate project plans to stakeholders
- Adapt project plans while ensuring stakeholders remain informed
- Establish collaborations between forklift vendors and Essensium
- Configure, calibrate, and validate systems at customer sites
- Provide first-line technical support to customers
- Build expert knowledge of SafeTrack products
- Collect customer feedback to improve products
- Provide technical-commercial support
- Lead demonstrations at customer sites and trade shows
- Assist the sales team with presentations, documentation, and customer requests
- Work independently at client sites in collaboration with the project engineering team at headquarters in Leuven
Requirements
- Live in the Brussels area, ideally on the west side toward Aalst
- Able to travel easily to customers’ sites in the Brussels area
- English is a must
- Dutch and/or French is very appreciated; one of the two languages is key
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or computer engineering
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in a technical role, or proof of the necessary skillset
- Experience in client-facing roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interest in mechanics, electronics, computer vision, positioning systems, and safety applications
- Able to work autonomously without micro-management
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify bottlenecks and issues proactively
- Systematic and accurate working style according to predefined planning
- Flexible and hands‑on
- Able to prioritize and manage several open issues
- Driver’s license
- Some Linux and Python experience is a plus, but not required
