Key Responsibilities: Strategic studies: Specification and implementation of architecture and technology studies based on Microsoft SQL Database technologies, taking into account all aspects related to architecture and technology decisions, such as, but not limited to, user requirements, evolution of technology and standards as well as aspects related to ergonomics, ecological footprint, availability, scalability, maintainability, evolution, installation, migration, operations, finance Evaluation of quality and efficiency of operations by definition and implementation of metrics; periodical follow-up of metrics; proposal of measures to improve quality and/or efficiency of operations Definition, preparation and execution of tests or proofs of concept Engineering: Capacity-planning based on usage history and forecasts for complex Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL database infrastructures Writing of technical specifications for Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL databases Support to the assessment of technical quality of offers Migration planning and supervision of Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL databases Inspection and quality assurance during deployment Assessment of performance of solutions; recommendations for improvement In relation to information systems: database implementation, customisation and parameterisation, prototyping and programming, testing and quality control, support, training and documentation Install and support complex Oracle (versions 12c, 19c) and/or Microsoft SQL (versions 2016, 2019) database infrastructures with ASM technology in place Install and support of ZDLRA Oracle appliances Manage the backup and restore cycle of the database infrastructure using Oracle appliances (ZDLRA), Oracle RMAN tool and other well-known tools used in the market (like Networker) Use advanced monitoring tools (Icigna, AppDynamics, Oracle EM) to proactively act on possible issues In relation to information systems: database implementation, customisation and parameterisation, prototyping and programming, testing and quality control, support, training and documentation Training: Assessment of training requirements Elaboration of courses Implementation of training sessions Assessment of training results Requirements: Certified knowledge of technologies defined above. Technical certification delivered by technology suppliers will be highly appreciated Excellent knowledge of the norms and standards, of industry trends and of state-of-the-art implementation examples Experience with practical implementations: architecture and technology selection, installation, configuration, test, operations Other requirements: EU Citizenship.
