About the Company As a Senior DB developer (Oracle), you have the opportunity to collaborate on projects that are challenging both technically and functionally. The projects you will work on are decisive for the continuity and performance of Infrabel's core business activities. These are projects related to the consolidation and distribution of information related to rail traffic management (pre-processing, realtime, post-processing, back-office) to B2B stakeholders, i.e.: Externally to our organization: To railway companies operating or transiting on our network To neighboring foreign infrastructure managers. To European platforms for the consolidation of railway information, such as RailNetEurope, for example. Within our organization: Real-time visualization of schedule changes for our staff in the signal booths. Calculation of fees and billing for our customers' use of our network. Calculation of electricity consumption related to our activities. Feeding of expert systems such as BigData. You will be involved in new developments as well as in the corrective and evolutionary maintenance of existing applications. As a technology-intensive company, we greatly value and value your technical abilities. About the Role Task and Responsibilities Design and validate 3NF data models based on functional analysis. Design and validate data models following the Data Vault model or Star Schema or other on the basis of a functional analysis. Implement the data model and business logic in SQL and PL/SQL. Ensure the quality of the code as well as that of the promotion management on the various environments (dev, test, acc, prod). Analyze and improve application/DB performance. Participate in peer-reviews. Maintain documentation. Required Skills Development in Oracle DB (L3: 5 years of experience at least) SQL & PL/SQL development (L3: 5 years of experience at least) Relational modeling via ERD, and application of standardization principles (3NF) (L3: 5 years of experience at least) Design of database architectures according to the Data Vault and Star Schema model (L3: 5 years of experience at least) Use of GIT as a Source Code Manager (SCM) (L3: 5 years of experience at least) Use of the Scrum/Agile methodology (L3: 5 years of experience at least) Optimization of SQL & PL/SQL queries (L3: 5 years of experience at least) Use of Jira (L3: 5 years of experience at least) Management and validation of scripts in separate environments (dev, test, acc, prod) (L3: 5 years of experience at least) Database management (security, tablespace, schema, ...) (L2: at least 2 years of experience) Dutch or French (first language) (C2: highly complex proficiency) Dutch or French (other than the first language) (B1: intermediate level) English (B2: upper intermediate level)
