Virya Energy is looking for a FP&A Analyst to join its Finance Team and offers a unique opportunity to work in the field of renewable energy. Your role: As FP&A analyst you will be involved in a broad range of financial planning and investment analysis related topics, both on group and entity level . Focused on long-term financial planning, business case modeling and investment analysis Support and follow-up group entities in their financial planning and reporting activities Translate the entity financial plans and group strategy in dynamic group financial plans and perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to drive strategic decision making by identifying trends, risks and opportunities Monitor execution and progress of the group strategy through periodic management reporting based on operational and financial metrics Prepare recurring internal group valuations Analyze investment opportunities and ad hoc business cases, and perform the periodic follow-up of realized investments Support in M&A files: valuation, due diligence coordination, etc. Further automate and optimize financial planning and investment analysis processes. Prepare financial presentations and reports for the relevant stakeholders (management team, board of directors, banks, shareholders) Support the management team in steering the value creation of the group Support in monitoring the value creation of the different businesses/projects by using financial indicators in financial models and by challenging their business plan while safeguarding uniformity in analyses and assumptions Provide financial support over the lifetime of the different projects in a multi-stakeholder environment Participate and contribute to continuously improving reporting, controlling and planning processes. Your profile: Between 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role Proactive attitude and focused on taking ownership and responsibility Experienced in investment analysis and financial modelling. Knowledge of analytical and accounting concepts. Knowledge of IFRS norms and consolidation is a plus Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial and technical data and analysis Advanced user of MS Office and/or other analytical software systems Ability to track multiple projects and perform several tasks at the same time Strong social and communicative skills and ability to work in team as well as autonomously Master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
