Solution IT Architect Location: Nearby Brussels - (up to 3 days remote ) Language: English Our client, a major organization that has been operating on an in-house, outdated email system , is currently undergoing a large transformation program to modernize its entire communication and collaboration landscape. This multi-phase Communication & Collaboration (COM & COL) program aims to gradually replace the legacy platform with modern, cloud-based Microsoft 365 technologies. Several components are currently being prepared and rolled out in stages, forming the foundation for a new digital workplace. To support this evolution, we are looking for a Solution Architect to help shape and guide the future communication ecosystem. Your Role As a Solution Architect, you will design and safeguard end-to-end IT solutions within the COM & COL program. You will collaborate closely with project teams, business stakeholders, and enterprise architects to deliver a scalable, user-friendly and future-proof collaboration environment. Key Responsibilities Design IT solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements. Support project teams throughout analysis, design, and implementation phases. Identify architecture risks and help evaluate alternative approaches. Ensure alignment of your solution architecture with the enterprise architecture. Document architecture decisions clearly and according to expected standards. Monitor implementation to ensure alignment with the solution design. You Are… An experienced Solution Architect, ideally with knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams or collaboration platforms. A strong communicator able to translate business needs into clear architectural outcomes. Someone who enjoys contributing to a large-scale modernization effort in a complex environment.
