Business context
Our client's tribe "Customer Servicing and Efficiency"' aims to facilitate the Contact Strategy. The tribe delivers solutions to support remote contact interactions, automates processes through robotics automation, and delivers Fraud Detection and Prevention solutions (phishing, vishing, ..).
We search an experienced Product Owner (PO), with good knowledge of both Banking and Fraud domains to reinforce one of the Fraud squads.
Responsibilities
- Manage the relationship with (Business) clients and stakeholders.
- Manage the intake of new cases, clarify the high level needs and get the product's key functional specifications drafted in collaboration with relevant experts (Business analyst, architects, developers, ...). You can participate in more technical and functional discussions if required.
- Build the product and squad backlog (including change and lifecycle management), prioritize the roadmap and communicate and explain the priorities to the squad (explaining the link with the group and our client's strategy)
- Help the squad with refinement activities to empower the squad to progress autonomously. You also explain the link with the group and our client's strategy.
- Elaborate on the product strategy of his scope.
- Work in close collaboration with the squad scrum master who ensures delivery follow-up and delivery facilitation. Through the agile ceremonies and other ad hoc sessions, you keep an eye on the progress on prioritized items (quality, adherence with needs, delivery status). You update customers and stakeholders through product boards, etc.
- Align with the Fraud Cluster PO, other Cluster PO's and stakeholders on the cluster strategy, cluster best practices regarding stakeholders and backlog management, and on opportunities, dependencies, to be taken into account (backlog).
- Manage communication to stakeholders in product boards and other forums (including senior management), mitigate potential conflicts.
- Make sure legal, risk, compliance and group guidelines are taken into account in the way solutions are designed and delivered.
Requirements
- You have min. 5 years' experience as Product Owner (MUST).
- You have experience with Fraud Detection and/or Prevention in a Banking environment (MUST).
- You are fluent in English with good knowledge in Dutch and/or French.
- You have excellent consulting skills.
- You are able to actively contribute to both functional and technical conversations.
- You are able to see the overall picture (helicopter view) - strategic thinking.
- You have analytical mind – conceptual thinking.
- You possess great negotiation and persuasion skills.
Work Location & Travel
- Work Regime: Full-time
- Location: Hybrid – 2 days/week in Brussels, 3 days remote
- Limited to no travel
