TIC Council is the trade association representing the Testing, Inspection and Certification sector worldwide. With offices in Brussels, Washington DC, Shanghai, New Delhi and a membership of 120 that covers more than 160 countries, the association has a truly global footprint, with European roots at the heart of the industry’s services to its customers.
For our office in Brussels, we are now recruiting an Executive Director for the Europe region .
The Executive Director - Europe will report directly to the Director General and will have the following responsibilities (non-exhaustive list):
Team Management: Lead and manage a team of three public affairs officers with their own portfolio.
Lead and manage the work of sectorial committees, specifically the Product Testing & Certification Committee, and the associated working groups.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management.
Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the association credibly at senior-level events and in public forums.
Autonomous, result-oriented worker and enthusiastic team player.
Professional fluency in English and either German or French, any other European language is an asset.
Relevant university degree (Political Science, European Studies, International Relations, Public Policy, Economics or a related discipline).
A full-time position with flexible working conditions (38h/week);
The position will involve European and international travel.
