Our client is looking for a Junior Systems Administrator to work on a long term B2B/freelance position. The role would be based 3 days per week onsite in Brussels with 2 days of remote working. The consultant needs to maintain virtualized environments based on VMware ( for the client's environment), Hyper-V ( for delegations ), and Nutanix/RESCOM ( for the restricted environment), ensuring stability, performance, and security, especially where highly confidential data was involved.
Windows Server (2016–2022) administration, File Server roles, Active Directory, GPO and AGMP with a strong security focus, and Red Hat Linux environments, with particular emphasis on Red Hat Satellite. The candidate will work closely with DevOps teams, contributing to projects within the SCRUM framework, constantly looking for opportunities to automate, optimize, and improve operational processes with PowerShell.
