Our client is a very well-known FMCG company with Benelux headquarters in the southern Brussels area. To support their growth, they are looking to recruit a Head of Finance & Business Controlling Benelux. As Head of Finance Benelux, you are ultimately responsible for the financial management of the Benelux organization. You act as a strategic business partner for the commercial management and play a pivotal role within the local management team. Leading and developing the finance team in the Benelux (approx. Acting as a trusted business partner for your internal stakeholders. Active membership of the Benelux Management Team. Ultimate responsibility for financial operations, including accounting, controlling, and reporting. Guiding modernization of the accounting and reporting processes, including the implementation of automated reporting, incl. Promoting continuous improvement and efficiency within financial processes. Contributing to the organization's growth ambitions, with a specific focus on the Dutch market. You hold a master's degree in Applied Economics or Finance. You have at least 10 years of experience in a senior commercial finance role. Relevant experience in a fast paced environment such as FMCG, consumer goods, retail or OTC pharma is mandatory. You have proven experience in people management and possess strong coaching skills to elevate a team. You are a strategic business partner with experience in change management. You have a very good level of both Dutch and French and have professional proficiency in English. You have a "can-do" mentality, challenge the status quo, and are an open-minded team player who leads change. Knowledge of SAP is a plus; You are willing to travel regularly (on average twice a month) to the Dutch office. The new Head of Finance & Business Controlling will need to get involved and actively contribute to the further development of the finance department. You will have the chance to lead a finance team with further potential to develop.
