Based in the Brussels area, our client is leading infrastructure company which is a fully connected economic hub for people and business. The company is an international reference in its sector, an essential flagship for Belgium and Brussels and is pursuing an ambitious growth plan, where performance, business diversification and sustainability represent the key pillars.
Position
The mission of the Senior HR Business Partner is to work closely with the leadership of the company's business or enabling departments, to create and implement people plans that will support the business's long-term objectives. This involves the following main accountabilities:
- Participate to business decision-making as part of their management team with insights, frameworks and tools;
- Support the implementation of the transformation initiatives within the departments, in close collaboration with the change implementation coach and HR colleagues;
- Assess and develop necessary capabilities within the department workforce and ensure the organization is prepared for the demands of the transformed business environment;
- Support leaders in maintaining employee engagement, address concerns proactively, and reinforce company values.
Candidate profile
- Master-level education, preferably in human or business sciences, or equivalent by experience.
- Relevant experience of minimum 7 years, including a proven track as HR Business Partner in a corporate environment. Additional experience in organisation development and implementation is a strong asset. A relevant experience in the consulting sector will also be considered.
- Good overall knowledge of HR strategies & processes, change management and strategic alignment techniques.
- Proven project management skills and ability to translate conceptual models in actionable tools and interventions.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, including the ability to challenge colleagues and stakeholders positively at all levels of the organisation.
- Open, creative and highly engaged mindset.
- Proficiency in English, Dutch and French.
