As a Data Scientist at LACO , you’ll be responsible for:
Developing and improving predictive models and AI-driven solutions using Python.
Coaching colleagues and actively contributing new ideas within the AI and data science domain.
Translating business questions into data science use cases and actionable insights.
Experimenting with and applying advanced analytics, machine learning and AI techniques.
Exploring and working with Microsoft Fabric and related Azure data & analytics services.
You have a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent.
You have at least 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytics role.
You have strong experience with Python and building predictive models (e.g. regression, classification, time series).
You have an interest in or hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern data platforms.
You understand the business context and know how to turn data into real business value.
You enjoy coaching others and sharing knowledge within a team.
You are familiar with machine learning frameworks and data science tooling.
You communicate clearly in Dutch and/or French and English (both written and spoken).
We work with both freelancers and permanent employees. Training, knowledge sharing, coaching, and mentoring.
