Bij vdk bank zoeken we een nieuwe vdk'er die zin heeft in een gevarieerde job en de beschikbare tijd verdeelt over beide rollen. Functieomschrijving De uitdaging als IRB credit risk validator: Je valideert het IRB-proces op de kwantitatieve aspecten en op het compliant zijn met de regelgeving; Je controleert de gebruikte data voor de modellen; Je informeert en rapporteert aan het directielid verantwoordelijk voor risk; Je presenteert de uitgevoerde validatie aan de toezichthouder; Je onderhoudt een diepgaande kennis van de regulering; Je formuleert aanbevelingen aan het modelteam en volgt deze nauwgezet op. De uitdaging als Data & AI Officer: Je tilt het datamanagement en de data governance in de hele organisatie naar een hoger niveau; Je komt met concrete verbetervoorstellen om het datamanagement van de organisatie verder te ontwikkelen en te verbeteren. Hierbij omarm je de mogelijkheden die door nieuwe technologieën zoals (Gen) AI geboden worden; Je bent betrokken bij het ontwikkelen en implementeren van datagedreven oplossingen binnen de bank; Je stimuleert het ethisch en verantwoord gebruik van AI in de werking van de bank. Profiel Je hebt een Master diploma in een kwantitatieve discipline; Kennis van courante programmeertalen is een pluspunt (R, SQL); Ervaring in de validatie / modellering van een A-IRB model is een sterke troef; Je hebt bij voorkeur ervaring met NBB inspecties omtrent IRB modellen; Je hebt affiniteit met AI, machine learning en datagedreven besluitvorming. Je bent assertief en voldoende kritisch ingesteld; Je bent communicatief en probleemoplossend en je kan makkelijk met stakeholders communiceren (zowel op conceptueel als op technisch vlak); Je bent stressbestendig en uitgedaagd worden is een lust, geen last; Je hebt affiniteit met de financiële sector en voelt je aangesproken door het duurzaam en ethische profiel van de bank.
