We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities on a prominent Data Centre project for an industry leading Construction firm. You will play a key role in ensuring systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
As a Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full commissioning lifecycle of a greenfield hyperscale data centre project — from planning and coordination through to execution and handover. You will work closely with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure systems perform as intended and meet project requirements.
Lead the development and implementation of commissioning strategies, procedures, and schedules for data centre projects.
Conduct inspections and quality reviews to confirm systems meet performance, safety, and reliability standards.
Manage vendor commissioning teams, reviewing documentation, testing protocols, and results.
Identify issues proactively and work collaboratively with project teams to resolve them.
Ensure alignment between design, installation, and operational performance objectives.
Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in the commissioning of data centres or other mission-critical facilities.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in all aspects of project delivery.
