Area Sales Manager (Plastics & Polymers) – BENELUX Salary: up to €90,000 per year + 25% bonus + company car + fuel card + expenses paid for
Location: WFH Contract + Extensive Travel Across Benelux

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager with a strong background in Key Account Management to join our clients high-performing sales team.

In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of a client portfolio worth €20 million, with approximately 80% of your focus on managing and growing existing key accounts, and 20% dedicated to new business development.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility of a home-based contract, paired with frequent travel to customers across the Benelux region and occasionally beyond.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced sales professional who thrives on building long-term relationships, driving growth and working closely with international teams.

Packaging industry experience would be highly beneficial, and we are particularly interested in candidates based in the Netherlands or Belgium.

Understand their evolving business needs, develop tailored solutions and lead contract negotiations (price, product mix, profitability)
Manage and develop business across your area to achieve and exceed sales objectives
Work closely with internal sales teams, product teams and customer service teams across multiple countries to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
Analyse sales performance, track key metrics and provide regular updates and insights to senior management
A strong track record in B2B sales, ideally within a manufacturing or packaging environment
Minimum of 5-years of experience in planning and executing successful sales and marketing strategies
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related experience / field preferred
Excellent communication skills (English essential), with the ability to engage at all levels
The selection process will include two interview stages:

An initial interview via MS Teams with senior members of the sales leadership team
A second interview, which may be held in person, giving you the chance to meet the team and learn more about the role and our clients culture firsthand
