George Thomas are in partnership with a Global Caps and Closures company. We are retained and actively seeking an Area Sales Manager - Benelux . This position will be remote based with frequent travel. This flexible, remote-based position offers the opportunity for meaningful travel within the region. About the Role: We are seeking a collaborative and relationship-driven Area Sales Manager - someone who finds fulfillment in cultivating long-lasting client partnerships and brings positive energy to Key Account Management (80% of the role). Based in Benelux and reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will focus on nurturing key accounts, fostering business growth, and contributing to the strategic delivery of sales goals. Key Responsibilities: - Thoughtfully manage and expand our business within the assigned territory, achieving objectives through partnership and cooperation. - Build, nurture, and sustain long-term relationships with key clients, listening to and truly understanding their needs to offer thoughtful, tailored solutions. - Create and implement sales strategies, identify new growth opportunities, and share insights through regular performance reporting. - Collaborate genuinely across product, customer service, and international teams to ensure each customer feels heard and valued. - Guide negotiations with empathy, oversee pricing and profitability, and remain informed on market trends to help our clients stay one step ahead. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred. - >5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within packaging or manufacturing sectors. - Comfortable communicating in English; additional proficiency in French is appreciated. - A caring communicator and active listener, highly motivated, and confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Willing and able to travel frequently, with flexibility for home-based work.
