Your responsibilities

The role combines a twofold purpose:
I. Responsibility Medical Systems Division (MSD) Belgium:
Coordinates and controls the implementation of the actions necessary to develop the sales of products and services for Olympus Belgium & Luxembourg in order to achieve the objectives set for its profit center and ensures the animation of its teams.

You report to the Matrix Manager, the Regional Division Manager West.
- Annual Planning coordination cross BU: Develops the annual plan with the West Region management and cascades objectives, strategy and action plans in the different Business Units of the Division.
- Business management Olympus Belgium,
- Business case management (cross BU) incl key negotiation
- Olympus Belgium MSD sales forecast (cross BU): Reports regularly to the MSD management of the West Region by providing forecasting and monitoring elements of its activities.
- Represents the MSD division within Olympus Belgium and at the level of different external bodies, customers or official bodies. As such, you build and maintain privileged relationships with opinion leaders, learned societies and professional unions.

II. Responsibility G&R Belgium:

- Develop the entrusted activity by ensuring its profitability in the long term.
- Develop the annual business plan for the West region, define the financial and sales objectives as well as the associated action plans. Develop the marketing plan for the ranges for which you are responsible in accordance with the group's directives and regulations.
- Execute for Olympus Belgium /Lux the strategy defined by the group
- Lead and control the work and resources of the organization and ensure the recruitment and management of its team. Manage, motivate, train and develop the team to ensure that it fulfills its mission and objectives.
- Ensure the implementation of the plan and take the necessary corrective measures to achieve the objectives by adapting, for example, the strategy, the organization and the means to market developments.
- Conduct important trade negotiations.
- Establish a network of customers and key decision-makers, ensure customer relations from order taking to installation.
- Report regularly to its local management by providing the elements of monitoring and forecasting of the activity.
- Ensure the proper functioning and coordination with all the departments of the company Olympus Belgium and Region.
- Implements policies and procedures to ensure that the activity complies with legal provisions and complies with health safety guidelines. Evolve quality procedures according to the group's guidelines and standards. Respect internal procedures and ensure the reliability of the information necessary for the update of databases, management tools and internal management.
- Represent the department for which you are responsible within the western region, at the European level of the group, at the level of the different customer bodies or official bodies.

You will report to the Regional Business Manager MEG

Your qualification
- You hold a Master’s Degree in a business or life sciences oriented education;
- You have at least 5 years of senior managerial experience within the field of medical devices (capital equipment or medtech devices);
- You are a seasoned people manager, an inspiring leader for an experienced team and a trusted coach for each individual member;
- You have excellent customer relationship skills as well as a strong understanding of customer
- and market dynamics and requirements;
- You possess strong strategical skills and can easily understand, evaluate and improve strategies;
- You work hands-on; you show entrepreneurship, agility as well as organisational ownership;
- You are familiar with working in a matrix organization;
- You have an excellent command of the Dutch, French and English language.
