Job Description: As a technician for security technologies, you are responsible for the installation and/or maintenance of various security systems at clients in your own region. Your tasks include access control, fire detection, and CCTV systems in particular. Depending on your experience and ambitions, your responsibilities may vary, but they generally include: Installation of security systems: You will install new access control, fire detection, and CCTV systems at clients' premises. In doing so, you ensure that all components are correctly placed and configured. Maintenance of security systems: You will perform regular maintenance on existing security systems to ensure they continue to function optimally. This may include preventative maintenance and troubleshooting any faults. Following internal procedures: You will follow the company's internal procedures to ensure that the work is carried out efficiently and accurately. This includes reporting on the work performed and the status of the systems. Safety: Safety is paramount in your work. You ensure that safety regulations are always followed during installation and maintenance work. This is crucial, given the sensitive nature of the security systems. As a technician for security technologies, you play a key role in ensuring the safety of clients and their properties. You work with advanced technologies and contribute to the security level of various locations. You will be deployed in your own region, allowing you to work efficiently and respond quickly to the needs of clients. Correctly installing and maintaining security systems is essential to guarantee a high level of safety and provide clients with peace of mind.

**Job Requirements**
Experience: You have a pronounced technical knowledge of electronic security techniques such as fire detection, access control, and various security techniques including intrusion detection, CCTV, visualization systems, and IP networks. This demonstrates that you are familiar with a wide range of security systems and their operations. Certificates: You possess a degree in Electronics, Electrical installations, Control and security techniques, or an equivalent education. This certificate confirms that you have received formal technical training relevant to the role of a technician in security technologies. In addition, you must also be able to present a clean certificate of conduct. This proof shows that you are a trustworthy individual without a criminal background. Having the Tobback Certificate is an added value. The Tobback Certificate is a Flemish certificate indicating that you are not banned from working in the security sector and that you are reliable to work with security systems. With strong technical knowledge of security technologies and the right certificates, you are well-qualified for the role of a technician in security technologies. Your expertise enables you to work effectively on various security systems and contribute to ensuring the safety of customers and their property. Your formal technical education and the required certificates prove that you are competent to work in this technical and responsible role.
