**Role Overview**
**We are looking for**:
- The people security manager is part of the security team in the Facilities & Security function. The role provides key people protection services to Solvay employees globally.
**We count on you for**:
- Ensure people related security risks are regularly identified and assessed and included in the risk register
- Manage the travel risk policy, program and solutions to protect travelers, expats or other employees as required
- Manage the solution providers for medical travel assistance, travel monitoring and security assistance for travelers and expats
- Support HR with respect to security vetting
- Enhance security awareness related to people security
- Manage kidnap & ransom policy and program
- Manage ad-hoc assigned security missions
- Perform risk assessment for all high-risk travel and where needed, medium risk travel
- Respond to travel incidents affecting employees
- Deliver regular reporting on travel incidents, program management and solution provider performance
- Deliver people security awareness briefings in the business
**You can count on us for**:
- Safety being our number one priority, this role is pivotal to keeping employees safe while they travel
- Unexpected challenges are a guaranteed part of the role (e.g. employee evacuation from risk areas, travelers requiring immediate medical assistance )
- Help increasing the resilience of the business
**You will bring**:
- 3 years in related or other security roles OR 1 year in a similar role
- Previous experience in physical / personnel security is an advantage
- Previous contract negotiation experience is also an advantage
- Certifications that are an advantage: CPP
- BA/MA level education (political & social sciences, psychology )
- Familiar with ISO 31030
- Close protection principles and solutions
- English: proficient
- Other languages are an advantage
