Zero Friction offers a reliable and efficient B2B SaaS platform for district & communal heating and cooling suppliers and building managers. Without major investment, billing and cost allocation of collective heat and other energy types is fully automated. We are fully in the scale-up phase and mentality, where we like to work together to build a success story.

As we continue to grow and expand, we're seeking an outcomes-oriented, highly collaborative Sales Account Executive with a challenger demeanor to help us address the substantial market opportunity and achieve revenue targets. The role will focus on driving expansion in the international market. This is an outstanding career opportunity for a sales professional looking to further their career in a fast growing environment supporting sustainable companies. You will sell strategic business outcomes with long-term, high growth engagements. You will be a key member of a close-knit, cross-functional team that is responsible for owning and driving the go-to-market strategy for your territory, and owning the sales cycle.

There are lead generation mechanisms in place, your job will be to strongly follow up these (often already lukewarm or warm contacts).

You take them through the whole story and follow up the sales cycle from A-Z. You take care of the initial outreach, make calls to plan your meetings, give demos and go for the close. Throughout this process, you focus mainly on demonstrating added value (which is huge) and adopt an informative style.

You will also contribute strategically. You will work closely together with our Head of Sales and your other sales colleagues. Together, based on customer feedback, you and the product manager will examine how you can take the billing platform to an even higher level.

In time, once you have settled in well, some account management will also be involved for the largest customers including the possibility of upselling.

We like to attend physical and digital events and fairs in our industry (ex. Euroheat and Power, UKDEA). We expect you to travel internationally with us to represent Zero Friction and network with potential clients to generate leads, including follow-up of these contacts.

**Who are you?**
- Preferably first experience as an Account executive, preferably in the area of Enterprise Software, SaaS (Software-as-a-Service), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), AI, cloud, ERP, CRM, CMS, ECM,... or highly motivated to get into this industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using LinkedIn for lead generation and social selling.
- Willingness to travel internationally for events and fairs is a must
- Ability to work collaboratively with our sales and marketing team
- Strong ability to research & identify potential leads in target markets.
- Knowledge of the energy market is a plus.
- Knowledge of tool stack (Hubspot, Sales Navigator, etc.) is a plus
- It’s a big plus if you’re able to think beyond the sales cycle including input on how to improve marketing campaigns and sales collateral.

Flexible language requirement:

- Strong knowledge of English.
- Knowledge of Dutch is not required but a plus.
- Knowledge of other European languages is a nice to have.
