**About the role**

You’ll be working closely with our People Director and will help make Cowboy a great place to work.

As Payroll & People Operations Manager, your responsibilities would include:

- Payroll management
- You will be responsible for all administrative tasks of the HR department (employment and consultancy agreements, contract modifications, supplements, group and hospitalization insurance, etc.)
- You ensure the correct follow-up and processing of social legal files.
- You check to what extent the internal payroll processes are in line with the legal standards.
- You are the contact point for the employees regarding their questions on social legislation and payroll administration
- You are responsible for the payroll processing of our employees
- You manage the Absence registration system and make the necessary adjustments;
- As a payroll specialist you also follow the latest developments in social legislation and you share your expertise with your colleagues;
- You actively participate in the analysis and optimization of our payroll and administrative processes.
- You are responsible for the preparation, compilation and delivery of monthly reports, analysis reports, statistics, for example: works council, absenteeism, sick leave, leave monitoring, dashboards, and ad hoc reports,
- Facility management
- Monitor and order office resources (equipment, stationery, furniture, water etc.)
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers to ensure the office operations and the quality of the office space: waste, catering, cleaning, water, maintenance, security
- Ensure the best utilization of spaces and resources
- Ensure office safety and security
- Manage and prepare devices and SIM card plans
- Manage logístical arrangements for various events
- Liaise with landlords and other building tenants
- Read and route incoming mail and process outgoing mail
- Welcome customers, partners and interviewees with a smile upon arrival and direct them to the appropriate people
- Accept deliveries
- Assist in posting & sending packages if needed
- People operations
- Employee pre-, on-, and off-boarding
- Celebrate employees and ensure their wellbeing at work

- Take initiatives to improve company culture

- Assist HR and Finance with administrative documents
- Schedule travel arrangements for team members
- In general, being the true guardian of the office and happiness of employees

**Requirements**:
Who we are looking for
- You have 2+ years working experience managing Belgian payroll and have perhaps worked with SD Worx.
- You have a solid working knowledge of Belgian employment law and labor regulations. You can confidently advise on any HR/ Payroll related questions.
- You're a real people person with a strong desire to make Cowboy the best place to work and grow.
- You have professional working proficiency in French and English.
- You excel in administrative tasks.
- You are able to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- You are willing to be present in the office 100% of the time.
