Key Responsibilities
- **_
Data Governance & Migration Framework:_**
- Further develop and implement Arvesta’s Data Governance framework to bring data management within Arvesta to the next maturity level.
- Establish, enforce and preach data governance best practices across the organization and in different projects.
- Own Arvesta’s Data Migration methodology to provide structure, guidelines, and standards to ensure qualitative data migration exercises in projects.

**_ Data Architecture:_**
- Take ownership on the data model and ensure it is in line with data governance standards.
- Implement and design data governance requests according to the data governance framework.
- Oversee the correct implementation of the data model within the Arvesta landscape.

**_ Team Leadership:_**
- Lead and mentor a team of data governance professionals, providing guidance and support in achieving organizational objectives.
- Foster a collaborative, growth, and high-performance team culture.
- Enable data professionals to extend their data management capabilities.

**_ Project Leadership:_**
- Oversee data involvement in projects and ensure that the correct data principles are applied within projects.

**_ Collaboration and Communication:_**
- Foster collaboration between business units, IT, and other relevant stakeholders to drive a shared understanding of data governance objectives.
- Communicate the benefits and importance of data governance throughout the organization.
- Connect with other peers within the IT-organization to position data and data governance within the IT-organization.

Profile
Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Management, Data Science, Business Administration) with a proven experience (5y) in data governance of a related role.
- Proven (people) leadership skills and project management capabilities. You act as SPOC and coach team members to develop their skills.
- In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, data management best practices, and relevant regulations.
- Strong analytical, customer-oriented and proactive problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with SAP Master Data and related data management frameworks.
- Strong communication and social skills in multiple languages (Dutch, English and French).
