Port of Antwerp-Bruges heeft een belangrijke rol in de dagelijkse werking van de haven. Zo'n 1 800 medewerkers werken dag en nacht aan een klantgerichte dienstverlening, een optimale infrastructuur, innovatieve projecten en de promotie van de haven in binnen-en buitenland. **Jouw uitdaging**:
Bedrijven die zich vestigen in de Antwerpse haven dragen bij tot het economisch weefsel van de stad en de haven als motor voor de Vlaamse economie. Om hen te begeleiden bij hun ontwikkelingsplannen en om hun omgevingsvergunningsaanvragen tijdig en correct af te handelen bij de stad Antwerpen, zoeken we een manager permtis & advice voor het Vergunningenloket Haven, een samenwerkingsverband van Port of Antwerp-Bruges met de stad Antwerpen.

Je takenpakket zit boordevol afwisseling
- Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor klanten met plannen binnen het Antwerpse havengebied rond omgevingsvergunningen en in het bijzonder de milieuaspecten
- Je geeft inhoudelijk milieuadvies bij de omgevingsvergunningsaanvragen. Je wint adviezen in en je verwerkt ze in je eindconclusie na afweging van alle aspecten en mits toepassing van de wetgeving en de gemeenschappelijke milieuvisie
- Samen met een omgevingsambtenaar van de stad en je collega’s van het Vergunningenloket Haven bewaak je de coherentie in beslissingen over omgevingsvergunningsaanvragen binnen het Antwerpse havengebied
- Je deelt actief je inzichten en expertise naar collega's buiten het team, in kader van vragen of in functie van concrete projecten.
- Je bouwt proactief constructieve relaties met stakeholders
- Je bent eindverantwoordelijke en zorgt voor de continuïteit van de dienstverlening via het aansturen van een team van experten

**Jouw profiel**:

- Je bent in het bezit van een masterdiploma in een (technisch) wetenschappelijke richting
- Je kan minimum 3 jaar relevante professionele ervaring met omgevingsregelgeving (milieu) voorleggen. Een sterke interesse in het Antwerpse havengebied is een extra troef
- Je denkt oplossingsgericht en bent klantgericht tegenover klanten, het stadsbestuur en jouw collega’s
- Je werkt nauwgezet, je kan goed onder tijdsdruk werken en je behaalt strikte deadlines
- Zowel schriftelijk als mondeling ben je een vlotte communicator; een goede basiskennis Engels is vereist
- Je kan overweg met gangbare softwaretoepassingen en hebt minstens noties van GIS
- Je bent en blijft voortdurend op de hoogte van relevante nieuwe wetgeving en ontwikkelingen omtrent milieuregelgeving en omgevingsvergunningen en volgt het milieubeleid op Vlaams, provinciaal en gemeentelijk niveau mee op
- Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B. Dit is noodzakelijk om af en toe plaats bezoeken te doen in de haven

Aan de functie manager environmental permits & advice is de weddeschaal klasse 8 verbonden. Hier vind je het overzicht van de loonbarema's per klasse.

Indien tijdens de selectie blijkt dat je over de goede motivatie beschikt, maar nog onvoldoende vaardigheden, kennis en/of ervaring hebt om het volledig takenpakket op te nemen, word je geworven in een lagere klasse waarbij een concreet groeipad wordt uitgewerkt. Je bekomt dan een salaris in klasse 7.
Bij realisatie van dit groeipad, wordt het salaris van een hogere klasse toegekend, zonder dat opnieuw aan een selectie dient te worden deel genomen.
