**Job Description : Innovation Manager - European Projects - Mix Homeworking/on-site**
WeSmart is looking for an experimented _Innovation Manager_ to set up European projects (H2020, INTERREG, Green Deal...).
This is a unique opportunity to join a new, multidisciplinary team of creative and passionate individuals destined to change the face of energy and IOT data management. We are focused on the company’s agenda, and work on high-impact projects utilizing big data analytics and machine learning to improve energy solutions. We’re a lean, agile and experimental team combining science and engineering to identify and inject high-value insights into energy management processes at their point of highest impact. The team works in quick iterations, using the techniques and algorithms best suited for solving the challenging problems of energy management.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- EC Programme Strategy: Responsible for the definition and execution of the company strategy related to EC R&D Innovation Programmes (H2020):
- Identification of possible EC co-funded activities that are aligned with our R&D interests.
- Preparation of proposals, consortium creation, submission.
- Definition of initial exploitation/commercialization plans for each initiative.
- Customer Relationship and Contract Management: Responsible for the flow of information and communication to and from the customers, especially the European Commission, and the outside world. For these EC projects, collection of cost-statements and deliverables from all partners, preparing the project cost-statement and other reports for their deliver to the Project Officer at the Commission.
- Business Exploitation: Project business plan definition and models creation, customer analysis, partnerships creation, solution maintenance and sustainability plan definition.
- Administrative project management and overall technical coordination
- Project reporting and interface with the European Commission Project Officer
- Financial management
- Co-ordination and control of project activities to keep them within the objectives
- Quality assessment of project deliverables
- Timeliness and quality management of the work produced
- Assessment and detection of risks and plan ahead contingency strategies
**Who we’re looking for**:
You remain focused and aligned on the objectives and the planning, even in complex context with many stakeholders from different horizons, Always with much enthousiasm and positiveness. You have a good technical background, which allows you a deep understanding of team characteristics and a great commitment with goals.
**Qualifications, experience and skills**:
- A minimum of 4 years of working experience
- A strong experience in submitting and organizing EU-funded collaborative projects (H2020, INTERREG, Green Deal...)
- Professional experience in the energy sector is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical competencies and excellent creative problem-solving skills
- Fluent in French and English
