**Job Description**:
We are looking for a **Legal Counsel**, who will be part of the legal team of BESIX RED, supporting the activities of the real estate development company which is active at pan-European level (Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Portugal, the Netherlands).

You will be involved into_ (i) _the legal accompanying of real estate developments projects and into _(ii) _overall legal management of the companies’ activities and its subsidiaries.

You will work on complex and multi-functional real estate development projects.

You will be mainly involved into the legal aspects of real estate development process, especially:

- Contractual management, advice and negotiations (drafting and review of contractual agreements - project management agreements, loan agreements, Transaction agreements);
- Follow-up of legal aspects of ongoing projects;
- Real estate tax/legal structuring;
- Litigation;
- Insurances.

The Legal Counsel may also be involved into corporate matters, such as compliance matters in the broad sense (KYC, AML, corporate housekeeping matters).

You work with external counsels where required/needed.

As part of a small but dedicated legal team, you will work with various internal and external stakeholders, representing the company and defending its interests. Working within a fast-growing company, you will get the opportunity to work on various files from different angles (acquisition, development, exit) and be involved into multiple law areas (civil, corporate, tax, urban planning,).

**Qualifications**:
We are looking for a **Legal Counsel** willing to grow and develop him/herself within our company, offering multiple opportunities.
- You have a law degree;
- You have relevant work experience (in real estate/construction environment);
- You are able to work in a team and to communicate with other stakeholders efficiently;
- You are willing to work within multiple legal matters (all-round profile);
- You are proactive and solution-minded;
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch (and fluent in French and English);
- You are a strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive work environment;
- A strong sense of service is the base of your job;
- You have excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
