Junior Technical Infrastructure Coordinator

For our client in Brussels, we are looking for a Junior Technical Infrastructure Manager.
As Junior Technical Infrastructure Manager you will ensure that the strategic projects are correctly translated based on the business strategy. The Junior Technical Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the management and implementation of cross-departmental projects, in order to ensure a flawless handling of all projects and to optimize where needed the processes with the different internal & external stakeholders.
What is your role?
- Coordination & management of technical requests (changes) regarding infrastructure:
following up technical infrastructure changes with our external partners.
- You identify and formulate the needs and expectations of yourBISS colleagues and the
business, as well as the stakeholders involved on the basis of a business case that you
compile, in order to ensure the feasibility of the projects and to identify the necessary
framework and means
- You define concrete deliverables in combination with a feasible project planning.
- You coordinate on a regular basis with the various stakeholders throughout the
implementation cycle
- You communicate to internal and external stakeholders and ensure that the requested
changes with external partners are delivered within the set timing
- You monitor the quality of the information (documentation, reporting, contractual
agreements with external partners).
- Managing the project team:
- You coordinate the various activities with your colleagues and direct external parties
where necessary in order to ensure that the team is deployable (quantitatively and
qualitatively).
- Stakeholder management: You build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure optimal cooperation
and effective changes in processes.
Besides directing technical infrastructure requests to our external partners, you also take on
support for the customers located in Brussels, Antwerp and Liège.
**These tasks include analyzing**:
- Network issues
- Telephony issues
- Printing issues
- Conference center/business center support
- Offering IT solutions to the customers
**Your profile**:
- You have a bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
- You have experience (+ 2 years) as junior technical infrastructure manager or + 3 years as medior system
engineer of large and/or multiple projects simultaneously (preferably in an IT context)
- You have the following skills : technical follow-up of Azure infrastructure (network Cisco
Meraki), WAN, Domains, DNS Telephony (Destiny), Security policies (Cloud, Network, Devices, Users), Meeting room equipment, stakeholder management
- You are assertive and result oriented
- You have a great sense of responsibility. The internal customer and your team are always central for you
- As point of contact for the customers, the technical people and all other people, you are strong in communication
- You are fluent in Dutch and can also express yourself in French and English
