Als Packaging Development & Prepress Manager rapporteer je aan de Sourcing Manager Packaging en ben je op groepsniveau verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen en implementeren van nieuwe verpakkingen - zowel flexible packaging (folies) als paper based packaging. Je stuurt een team (3HC) aan dat op verschillende locaties in de groep actief is.
Jouw takenpakket omvat:
- Leiden en coachen van het centrale packaging development & prepress team.
- Internationale coördinatie met alle fabriek locaties en leveranciers i.v.m. de ontwikkeling en introductie van nieuwe designs, designwijzigingen en nieuwe verpakkingsmaterialen.
- Intensief samenwerken met Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, Quality Assurance and R&D van het bedrijf en de lokale entiteiten.
- Actief managen van de preferred externe partners voor prepress design.
- Opvolging van forecasting tot supply planning en dit voor nieuwe/gewijzigde verpakkingen. Plaatsen van prepress orders, waaronder ook opvolging van bestellingen en levertijden.
- Actief bijdragen aan intern onderzoek en ontwikkeling van nieuwe verpakkingen en verpakkingstechnologie.
- Bijdragen in de sustainability strategie en de daaruit volgende projecten binnen verpakkingen.
- Vertrouwen bouwen bij onze leveranciers en prepress partners over heel Europa met als doel duurzame relaties op te bouwen.
- Samenwerken met jouw team aan proces - en systeem optimalisaties in de verpakkingsontwikkeling.
- Expertise delen en vragen aan Category Buyers en Sourcing Managers binnen het Procurement team.
- Het centraliseren van data over het life cycle proces en technische specificaties binnen de Group.
**Profiel**
- Je bent gepassioneerd door de verpakkingswereld en de technische aspecten ervan.
- Je beschikt over mínimaal een Bachelor diploma in een technische, design/grafische of economische richting.
- Je hebt minimum 5 jaar relevante werkervaring, waardoor je snelheid kan pakken eens je je rol opneemt.
- Je houdt en krijgt energie van complex projectmatig werk binnen de verpakkingsontwikkeling.
- Je hebt een sterke interesse in onze sustainability agenda en onze continuous improvement projecten.
- Je beschikt over sterke analytische vaardigheden en affiniteit met systemen en Excel. Heb je daarenboven ook ervaring met een ERP systeem als SAP en een Prepress of life cycle managementpakket, dan klinkt dit nog indrukwekkender.
- Je bent als een vis in het water in zeer dynamische omgevingen en structuren in volle transformatie.
- Je hebt een zeer goede gesproken en geschreven kennis van het Engels en bij voorkeur ook Frans.
