Functieomschrijving
Een nieuw bedrijf werkzaam in de voedingssector (productie van tussenproducten) is op zoek naar een plant manager.
Als plantmanager ontwikkel, implementeer en verbeter je het operationele en commerciële beleid van de plant en je draagt de volledige P&L verantwoordelijkheid.
Jouw takenpakket houdt onder meer in:
- Je bepaalt een visie en beleid dat past binnen de strategie van de plant en ziet toe op het behalen van de vooropgestelde operationele resultaten die in de lijn liggen met sales
- Je geeft vorm aan je operationeel beleid en gaat hierover in overleg met de andere leden van het directieteam
- Je fungeert als sparringspartner op vlak van techniek, voedselveiligheid, productie,....
- Je staat in voor de budgettering van productiekosten en personeelsbezetting, je monitort je resultatenrekening, je maakt analyses en plant op basis hiervan acties om bij te sturen waar nodig
- Je verzorgt in samenwerking met de finance afdeling de rapportering van budgetten, forecasts en actuals
- Je geeft leiding aan het operationele en administratieve team. Je coacht hen, je stimuleert hun onderlinge samenwerking en tilt hen naar een hoger niveau
- Je staat in voor een mensgericht personeelsbeleid en wordt hierin bijgestaan door de collega-HR Manager
- Je focust op operational excellence; je bepaalt en evalueert verbeteringsprojecten die zorgen voor méér efficiëntie, kwaliteit en klantentevredenheid
- Je ziet toe op de naleving van de bestaande regel
- en wetgeving, op de kwaliteits
- en veiligheidsstandaarden en je grijpt in of stuurt bij waar nodig
- Je onderhoudt relaties met klanten, leveranciers en een professioneel netwerk in de voedingssector
Profiel
- Je hebt een master diploma bio ingenieur en minimum 10 jaar ervaring in een gelijkaardige leidinggevende functie in een productieomgeving
- Je affiniteit met de voedingssector
- Je hebt strategisch inzicht, je functioneert op directieniveau en kan terugvallen op een aantal succesvolle change management en opex projecten
- Je bent communicatief, daadkrachtig, analytisch en resultaatgericht
- Je hebt een helicopterview en kan tegelijkertijd voldoende diepgang brengen in de operationele day-to-day business
- Je hebt een empathische en coachende stijl van leidinggeven die jouw medewerkers aanzet tot groei en persoonlijke ontwikkeling
- je kan de waarden ondernemerschap, respect, bescheidenheid & good vibes ondersteunen
