In our English-taught study programme International Business Management we deal with all aspects of business management. Ranging from sustainability, economics, intercultural communication, law, commerce, accountancy and sales to personal development. Students can choose from 3 specialisations: Global Business, Global Supply Chain Management and International Entrepreneurship.
**What is your role?**:
As a lecturer you contribute to the development of our students into passionate professionals. You devise new content and work methods, you allow the students to learn through feedback, coach them in their learning process and assess them.
What do you actually do?
You immerse second-year students from Global Business and International Entrepreneurship in the wonderful world of HR.
- You give an introduction to HRM from a business perspective: ranging from a brief historical overview of HRM, HR strategy and the Ulrich HR model.
You work partly according to the principles Flipping the Classroom and Blended Learning. In this you combine digital study material with face-to-face activities. Students prepare themselves on the basis of online info and explanations and you use the time in class to practise, discuss and answer questions.

- An accessible coach who supports students in their development. You can relay your expertise and experience tailoring it to the students.
- A colleague with an inclusive mindset and an understanding of and experience in dealing with diverse cultures. You are able to inspire students to look beyond boundaries.
- A colleague who is keen to learn with an active professional network in the HR sector.
In addition you have a master’s degree, preferably in a human sciences discipline or equivalent by experience. You are a native speaker or have near-native speaker proficiency in English (minimum C1).

- A part-time position as a visiting professor. You start on 1 September on a one-year contract, which can be extended after a positive assessment.
- As holder of a master’s degree, you will receive a salary based on the Lecturer Salary Scale 502. Click here for more info. In addition, relevant professional experience outside of education can count towards your seniority.
- We reimburse you 100% for travelling to and from work by public transport. If you come by bike, you get € 0.21 per km.
- You can count on attractive benefits such as flexible working hours, a hybrid working option, a laptop (from a 30% appointment), a generous number of holidays (55 days for a full-time appointment) and the option of hospitalisation insurance at a favourable rate.
