Overview:
**Analyst Accounting Operations**
As Anayst Accounting Operations you will be responsible, with the assistance of the senior consolidation and compliance accountants, for delivering financial statements in various locations across the world. He/she ensures the consistency of financial statements with IFRS standards and local regulatory requirements. This includes analysis of the local requirements, collaboration with the financial auditors and detailed analysis of the accounts to ensure adequacy of financial statements.
**What you will do**
- Collect and analyse information required for the preparation of financial statements for SITA branches in Asia, Africa and America.
- Participate actively in the planning for the preparation and delivery of the financial statements
- Prepare adequate financial statements and associated disclosures in line with IFRS norms and possible local adjustments
- Interact with external auditors and provide adequate justifications to obtain certification of financial statements reported
- Resolve queries liaising with the appropriate internal/external contacts
- Identify organisational and process efficiency improvements;
Implement specific department project and process improvement tasks.

Qualifications:
**Who you are**:
- Experience of working in a Shared Service Centre is preferred;
- 1-2 years experience in the specific area of responsibility;
- 2-3 years work experience in an accounting environment preferably within a medium size company with a matrix business structure;
- Previous experience in audit activities is an advantage;
**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**:
- Understanding of IFRS accounting principles;
- Analytical capabilities;
- Ability to multi-task, to stand up to pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Good communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external customers at all levels;Proficiency in spoken and written English; other languages are beneficial
- Demonstrate PC proficiency (MS Excel Word Power Point);
- Working knowledge of Oracle SUN (or equivalent financial systems) Hyperion reporting system is desirable
