**Position Summary
Are you a PR expert with an open mind and a can-do attitude?
By joining the Corporate Communication team, you will be the link between the outside world and Nestlé Belgilux and a key actor in building a climate of trust with editors, journalists, and consumers in our market. You will implement Nestlé corporate strategy to close the gap between consumer expectations and the company’s priorities.
**A day in the life of a Corporate Media Relations Professional
- Promote and protect the company’s reputation by developing and executing media and public relations strategies to help Nestlé and its businesses achieve their strategic goals through media communication.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, online, broadcast and print to ensure a fair to positive perception of Nestlé in the media.
- Write the press releases in Dutch and French and build Nestlé corporate story telling, taking into account the local market & the Nestlé corporate global priorities and commitments.
- Develop and implement the corporate strategy on digital channels (including the Linkedin strategy of the CEO and management team). Select & lead the implementation of the Corporate campaigns on social media with the support of the digital team.
- Anticipate and manage sensitive issues and situations: coordinate the different stakeholders and develop the right messages for external communication including social media and PR.
**What will make you successful
- 4-5 years’ experience in a PR agency or in a Press relations department in a company. Experience in external communication needed.
- You like and have writing and communication skills in French, Dutch and English.
- You are interested in sustainability issues.
- You are curious, solution focused and passionate. You have a can-do, proactive attitude. Agility, persistence and result-oriented are key.
- You are a team player who can build relationship with a wide range of stakeholders.
