We are seeking an **experienced Generalist Data Warehouse Developer** to join our´s client team, engineering company in Bornem (Belgium).
- We are open to both Permanent or Freelance arrangements.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design efficient data models.
- Design and develop efficient data warehouse solutions using industry-standard tools and technologies.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines to ensure the smooth flow of data from various sources to the data warehouse.
- Write and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and business intelligence.
What are we looking for in your profile?
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and business intelligence, preferably in the financial and automotive sectors.
- Proficiency in SQL is a must, with a focus on data modeling and optimization.
- Experience with SAP BO and QlikSense is a plus.
- Deep understanding of data warehouse, data vault, and data lake design principles.
- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing tools such as Snowflake, Airbyte, Fivetran, dbt, or Coalesce is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Language: Dutch, English.
