The commercial-technical engineer is responsible for offering the right technical solution to the customer and support to the sales request. In this role you are the keystone for a high customer satisfaction by delivering the best solution in time and in budget. If needed you develop specific solutions for a customer based upon available technology. If you are interested in doing more than just selling or servicing instrumentation this role is a perfect fit. In order to drive maximum efficiency and effectivness you would be located in Nazareth. Other Hach locations in Europe or Remote office can be considered.

**In this role, a typical day will look like**:

- Concept & technical development, calculation & standardization of advanced integrated solutions
- Preparing and delivering presentations at on-site visits, virtual teams meetings, conferences, trade fairs, sales meetings and office hours for internal and external customers
- Drive and expand sales for Integrated Solutions productlines
- Commercial & technical support to the Hach Field sales teams & distributors, preparing concept drawings, quotes for complete solutions, performing technical feasibility checks

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- A degree in Analytical Chemistry or Engineering (e.g. electrical, mechanical automatization).Alternate degrees or work experiences will be considered
- Willingness to travel **up to** 7 days per month
- High level of English language skills (written and verbal), 2nd and/or 3rd language (Dutch, French, German,..) is a plus
- Relevant experience in industrial markets in a technical or commercial role or relevant experience with a utility or a contractor/consultant providing engineered solutions
