For our National Sales office in Belgium, we are hiring an Account Manager.

You should possess strong commercial, communication, and analytical skills which are needed to make smart business decisions in the execution of the commercial plan.
You have a commercial and "business hunger" attitude and are able to persuade our clients to choose NH Hotels. You find it important to work on a high service level, advise our clients, and provide them with a professional tailor-made proposal, which is according to their & NH's wishes and needs and "to be an ambassador of the NH Hotel Group".
**Main responsibilities**
- Maximize revenue & profit opportunities through sales activities from the assigned accounts - hunting for new potential accounts - individually and as a teamwork
- You will manage a portfolio of local Government, Corporate & MICE accounts
- Account development: follow-up on client's "stay & spend" productions and - take necessary actions to maintain/improve level of production - develop strategic account plans and plan active roll out (incl. develop M&E -Meeting & Events
- opportunities)
- Achieve turnover objectives
- Handle RFPs according to NH guidelines
- Grow & strengthen relationships with your clients (B-2-B) to become their consultant.
- Maintain a good working relationship with hotels in BU and particularly in the assigned geographical working area
- Keep in close contact and liaise with other departments to develop accounts such as Sales counter partners (based abroad), Global Sales, Group Sales Booking Offices, Revenue Managers, and Marketing Dep.
- Responsible for maintaining a high-quality CRM system for existing accounts and prospects
- Minimum of 3 years field sales experience in the hotel/travel industry
- Knowledge of hotel/tourism market
- Experienced with Lanyon, Hotelligence / Agency 360 and SAP, TMS

(and preferably: understanding of GDS, TMC's and other distribution channels)
- Large active MICE/Corporate/Government network in Belgium (and abroad)
- Flemish, French, and English: fluent spoken and written language skills.
- In the possession of a driver's license
