We zijn op zoek naar een Product Owner die ons verder op weg kan zetten om de interactie binnen onze digitale producten of producties zoals tv-programma’s verder vorm te geven. Je zal deel uitmaken van de afdeling Digitale Producten die de apps en sites van alle VRT-merken maakt.
Wat ga je bij ons doen?
Je bent de product owner van de interactietoepassingen van VRT. Dat zijn componenten die op alle touchpoints van VRT gebruikt kunnen worden. Het gaat over live chat met de radio’s, allerlei stemmingen (zoals Zomerhit, Iedereen Bondscoach of Start to DJ), radio-hitlijsten (zoals De Tijdloze, De Klara Top 100 of De Nieuwe Lichting), live interactietool tijdens livestreams (voor bv. Ketnet De Peetie Club, King Size Live, De Warmste week),
Je vertaalt de strategische visie naar gebruiksvriendelijke en waardevolle toepassingen die de noden van onze eindgebruikers vervullen. Je gaat samen met redacties aan de slag om interactie tussen onze gebruikers, kijkers of luisteraars en VRT naar een nieuw level te brengen.
Je zal deel uitmaken van een Agile product team met oa. UX- en designspecialisten, ontwikkelaars en testers.
Wie zoeken we? Je hebt 3 jaar ervaring als product owner van apps en sites met een groot bereik. Je kan dan ook een product roadmap bepalen op basis van de waarde voor de gebruiker, de strategie van het merk en van VRT. Ervaring in de mediasector is hierbij een pluspunt. Je hebt kennis van service design en gebruik van workshops, gebruikersbevragingen, inzichten uit data en stakeholder interviews om gebruikersgedrag en noden in kaart te brengen. Je hebt daarbij ook ervaring met het bouwen van inclusieve producten die maximaal toegankelijk zijn voor een divers publiek. Kennis van de richtlijnen voor Toegankelijkheid van Webcontent (WCAG) 2.1 en de best practices voor het ontwerpen en ontwikkelen van toegankelijke apps zijn dan ook een must.
Door jouw sterke communicatievaardigheden kan je goed overweg met de verschillende stakeholders en ben je goed in het samenwerken over de teams heen.
Je haalt energie uit de coaching en motivering van een ontwikkelteam bij opleveren van de roadmap met oog op tijd, budget en scope. Agile en product backlog prioritering en beheer zijn jou niet vreemd Je hebt ervaring met search engine optimization (SEO) Je hebt een natuurlijke interesse voor nieuws en media en maakt regelmatig gebruik van de VRT-apps en -sites.
